Using it as second screen, have had no issues whatsoever - Great Picture quality
Some reasons why I chose the BENQ 27 inch IPS over other monitors: » love the rectangular base (vs circular ones since my desk space is small so I thought this would be less bulky) » I wanted SMALL bezels and this monitor is perfect for that! Gives it a very minimalist look » Overall, I just love the design of the monitor and very happy to have made this investment for myself
I work from home doing software development and was looking for the following: - 27" - mountable - thin bezel since I wanted to mount two - eye care tech since I'm on the computer all day long - IPS display These are exactly the above, and so far look great and really do have a super thin bezel. I would not hesitate to buy these again. You end up paying a bit more to find all the above + mountable, but it is definitely worth it. Way better than stacking books.
Image quality isn't very sharp for some reason but that isn't something i could've found out beforehand, but everything else was beyond my expectations. the stand has a really modern feel and the entire screen has a really neat design. arrived 1 day early! no broken pixels, plugged and played and worked just fine with my pc.
this seemed like a great purchase at the time, and I'm sure this is a good monitor.
I purchased the 27 inch IPS/FHD version. The monitor is super crisp, has pleasantly smooth colors, and has fantastic viewing angles compared to my previous monitor. The bezels are nice and thin and overall makes it a very attractive addition to my desk. And yes, it has an HDMI port, complete with some built-in cable management. The HDMI cable is included as well! Warning however, the head of the cable is quite thick- this may be a problem if you're going to plug this into a thin laptop, like I am. To work around it, I'm propping my laptop up on a book.
This is my first ever monitor purchase, so I might not be as experienced as others. However, I LOVE this monitor! I got it for working at home and also doing online classes since the whole semester is online now. I am using the monitor connected to my Macbook Pro and it runs beautifully from there. I don't game or anything, but I do occasionally edit videos for work and this monitor is great for that too!
I like this monitor, and think it delivers good value for the price. The image is sharp, the screen is bright and colors are fine too. The low blue light options are interesting, but I rely more on Windows 10's Night Light for that. Another nice surprise was finding it does come with an HDMI cable in the box - recent reviews suggested it didn't, and now I have a spare cable :)
