Customer questions & answers

Question:Has anyone tried this with the 2021 macbooks yet? Wondering if those can deliver 120Hz or 240Hz.
Answer:I have a 2019 16 inch MBP and it works great with a Thunderbolt to Display Port 1.4 cable!

Question:Why is this labeled 4k uhd when the model ls49ag952nnxza is only dqhd (5120x1440p)?
Answer:The resolution is correct, 5120x1440. Mine did not claim 4K

Question:I have 2 27" 1440p monitor that I want to keep and put above this monitor. Has anyone tried that or have any recommendations for arms that would work?
Answer:This monitor will allow you to split your work into three sections of usable space, my plan is to mount the 32" G5 curve above it, currently placed to the left.

Question:Is this monitor compatible with xbox series x? run 4k 120hz on xbox series x? do you have to make additional adjustments? any special cable or hardwar
Answer:No the Monitor's resolution is 2560 x 143340p native.

Question:What are the dimensions of the screen (sans border) tall and wide? Not diagonal
Answer:Just used a measuring tape on mine:
Without the border and not accounting for the curvature, the screen is 45.88 inches wide and 13.125 inches tall.

Question:display resolution?
Answer:5120x1440

Amazing monitor. It’s big but not too big. For Flight Sim or DCS I’d almost say it’s a must. Very happy with the purchase.

Never written a review before, but this is simply the best monitor I have ever bought so felt compelled to...it's more of an experience than a material thing, simply amazing. Primary use is for gaming, worth every dollar.

I've had this monitor a few months now and I've been loving it. As for its size, it probably won't fit in most places, corner of a desk will fit for sure. I'm using am RTX 3080 (10GB RAM) on medium graphics and don't get anywhere close to 240Hz while playing destiny 2. My guess is if I had more VRAM I can get closer to 240Hz

I read online forums and watched all the Youtubers for 3-4 months before purchasing this monitor. My two worries were scaling applications easily like a two monitor setup, and if a 2060 video card could push hard enough to play games as 30X0 series video cards are nearly impossible to find at the time of this review. There's a downloadable app called PowerToys with a something called "Fancy Windows" that allows you to divide up the screen very easily for productivity apps and it's actually glorious for me. I have 3 apps divided up evenly on the screen and there is lots of real-estate for it at the native 5140x1440. I had thought that I would have to run the 2060 video at 1080p, but have been surprised that by turning down to medium settings in games I can 70-90 fps in top titles at the full native resolution. I know most people would prefer to see over 100 fps, including me, but whether it's g-sync or something else, it feels smooth and is truly incredible. Far Cry 5, Witcher 3, Doom Ultimate, Battlefield 4, Battle Front 2, Elder Scrolls online all look great with minimal to no stretching at the sides. Fallout 76 is a mess as it has terrible support for Ultrawide. I only had to turn one game down to 1080p and I honestly cannot really tell. RTX is unusable dropping even Quake RTX down to 13 fps but it was never a great option on a 2060 anyway. In terms of the monitor itself. HDMI sound is not working. I'm deciding if I want to try a firmware update to fix this

Just got this beast of a monitor and did a full round of tests, No flicker, no light bleed, no glowing corners. Its absolutely flawless and what its expected to be without all of the previous issues! Hope everyone else has the same experience! 240hz on this super ultra wide is super ultra awesome! Will update the minute something is funky!

This is a beautiful monitor all I had to do is turn off local dimming and I have had zero issues. Nothing wrong with the build quality, no dead pixels. No flickering. I ordered mine when it was on sale for $1750 in early October. FYI you need a 3000 series gpu to be able to select all the options or it won't let you. Even 2080 ti won't let you.

This monitor is huge and heavy, make sure you have a big strong desk to hold it. It is the same size as having two seperate 27 inch monitors side by side. You should also make sure that you have a minimum of an RTX 2080 or you will not be able to push the native 5120px1440px120hz. I was lucky since mine has no backlight bleed or dead pixels like some others have had. Only real complaint I have is that some games have stupid developers that intentionally block you from using the native resolution (such as Blizzard's Overwatch) and leave you with black bars on the left and right of the monitor (the developers of Overwatch responded saying that a wide resolution gives an 'unfair advantage' which is nonsense since they could simply allow others to just run an ultrawide resolution on their standard monitor). Luckily there are good developers out there (such as psyonix, which made rocket League) which allow you to use any resolution you want.

Great monitor, will simply blow you away. Takes a little bit to get it configured the way you want it. Resolution, refresh rate, 10 bit color. Only issues I have had are. Updated Nvidia display driver borked my PC started booting to Windows with no disp. Haven't been able to run Battlefield V at 240hz, keep getting screen flickering, had to turn it down to 120hz only for this game all others run fine. I haven't tried BFV again with the new firmware tho. Very happy with this Monitor tho.
