3 boxes arrived today for this bed. With 2 gentle men bringing them inside the house for me. I assembled it immediately in about 3 hours by myself (33 year old out of shape female). The back brackets required me to pre-drill some holes (not mentioned in instructions), but otherwise was very easy to assemble outside of my hands getting tired along the way. I haven’t laid on it just yet, but seems to be sturdy and of quality materials. I did appreciate the extra spare parts they provided (although I didn’t need them).

I had mixed feelings about getting this at first. The idea was perfect, but some of the reviews had me nervous about the delivery, packaging, and assembly. The delivery was as smooth as it could be. The guys to unloaded this were very nice and gave me no trouble. The packing was well done. As I unboxed everything, I looked over each piece and counted all the hard ware to make sure there was no damage and nothing was missing. I couldn’t find anything wrong. The wood is solid, so I expect this will last a long while. I was glad to see that most of this was already put together. Assembly took a couple minutes to figure out, but overall it was easy and straightforward. After putting everything together I laid on the bed to see how comfortable it is. Not too bad. It’s not as good as my bed, but it’s waaay better than a blow up mattress. This will be perfect for when the parents come to visit. I’m excited to have guests stay the night at my place now knowing they will be comfortable!

We received this Murphy bed yesterday. Delivery was seamless - excellent driver. The Murphy bed is beautiful piece of furniture, comfortable and of really good quality. We have a small house so needed to turn one of the guest rooms into a multipurpose room. We mounted a TV above the Murphy bed so use it as a family room, and can easily transform it to a very comfortable guest room when we need it. We're very happy and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Murphy bed. It is so much nicer than the beds built into the wall.

We needed to convert a spare bedroom into an office and we went with this product. Couldn’t be happier! The assembly instructions were easy. I did it by myself in 2 hours. But if you could get someone to help, I’d recommend it. I would also recommend that when the product is delivered, have them bring it in the room where you want it. The boxes are super heavy and it really helps to have them exactly where you need to do the assembly. The mattress is comfortable and it’s a sold piece of furniture. I saw some bad reviews about shipping damage so inspect all the pieces before you get started. Everything was fine in our box. We are very happy with our new Murphy Bed!

We have a small guest bedroom and wanted something that when not in use would not take up most of the room. This fit the bill perfectly. I was a little intimidated by some reviews about difficulty and time spent in putting it together. As soon as I was able to visualize how it was to be assembled, it was okay. So far 3 guests have slept on it and they all gave good marks for comfort. It is easy to close up. The one thing I would warn about is the legs on the foot of the bed can scrape your leg if not careful walking by.

I needed a bed for my spare/fitness room, but I didn't want a normal bed that would just take up floor space when not in use. This cabinet bed was the perfect solution! It is made from solid wood so it's sturdy and the paint job is high quality. The instructions were easy to follow, but it helps to have two people when assessing. The foam mattress is plenty supportive and looks like it will hold up well over time. Most of the hardware is really well designed and sturdy. My one complaint is the last leg that unfolds near the foot of the bed is just a simple hinge. My guest sat on the foot of the bed and the leg slide right out from under and broke the first time it was used. Amazon was great at working with me to resolve the issue, but I will be adding a reinforcement to that joint to prevent it from happening again.

I love this bed. Perfect for my living room. I hired a handy man to assemble and he did it alone in about 3-4 hours. It comes in a huge box they delivered in the driveway. My handyman was able to move in the house by himslef. I think the mattress is very comfortable.

Great Chest, my wife and I are very pleased with it. It is very easy to put it together.

Received and assembled today. As advertised. Very good quality. All parts fit well. Instructions were concise. All hardware was present (even some extra screws). This item was delivered ahead of schedule and delivery was fine.I've assembled a lot of IKEA furniture over the years so this was easy. This is a great solution for a small bedroom which will now be an office, TV room, craft room and a bedroom.

Better than I expected! I have been shopping for a cabinet bed for awhile.. and was nervous about committing that amount of money to something I couldn't see.. finally did it.. and now wonder why I waited so long! It was delivered by freight, they dropped it off in my garage, I was able to unpack it there ( and the packing was incrediable.. not one issue with damage to anything), carry it into the house, and had it set up within an hour.
