Question: Does this tank have a heater?
Answer: The tank does not include a heaterQuestion: What kind of heater this aquarium needs?
Answer: You will need a heater that can adequately heat 55 gallons of water to a temperature that is appropriate for the fish you plan on putting in the aquarium.Question: Does The stand could be open or the storage area is just on top?
Answer: The stand does not open. There is a spout on the side of the stand to allow for easy drainage. That’s the only opening on the stand. The top stores the filtration system, lighting and where you can plug everything in.Question: Is the back of the tank flat? Or are both sides bowed?
Answer: Both sides are bowed. I didn't like that at first but found it makes cleaning the back easier.Question: How mich does the tank weigh fully filled on the stand?
Answer: With gravel, water, and what you choose to decorate with will vary. I would say under 100 gallons.Question: Will this support both fresh water or salt water set ups?

I've had this for a few years and just recently cleaned it up and set it up for a saltwater tank I broke down out of a larger tank.

I have a couple aquatic frogs and a beta fish in this aquarium and I think it looks perfect and is the exact size I needed. It’s well sealed and seems sturdy with real glass that curves and looks really cool. I’d recommend this product.

I wanted a small tank that wasn't plastic. It comes with a glass cover but I use it for my cats water tank. This tank is a perfect height for cats to drink the water. They drink and watch the guppies come around their tongue. Ours has guppies and fern balls in it. The guppies have had several guppy births in this tank.

This tank is simple and easy to clean. If you clean the filter regularly it is virtually soundless and with a decent plant you can hide it. The force of the water is strong though, I keep at at the lowest facing in a corner. The rounded edges are great and the seal is good. The light on top is OK but kind of lame because you can't keep it on the tank and open the lid at the same time. I just leave it off for my betta since light is annoying to him and too bright.

This is a perfect small tank. Nicely constructed from beautiful glass. The in-tank filter is quite adequate though the flow might be a bit too strong for some fish. Just be aware that the light is trash ( which is where I literally threw it.).

I looked at my fish every day thinking he was miserable in his 1 gallon pickle jar bowl. So I purchased this tank. I was going to go with the 3 gal, but 5 gal was less expensive. I have a whole new fish! I get bubble nests every week. I was stressed about the filter having an electrical cord submerged, but all is AWESOME! Great Tank ! Fits on my desk! Really quiet, and easy to lift the flimsy plexiglass lid to feed him. I recommend this tank.

It’s a great aquarium. Having read reviews I didn’t even use the light, I ordered a different one. I didn’t use the lid, it seemed flimsy and I like the open top anyway. The filter in the pictures isn’t the original one. The original filter works well and quietly. I used it for about a month before I put a betta in it. However even on the lowest setting, it’s MUCH too strong for a betta. In my experience, it’s been a great purchase. No regrets.

I absolutely love my aquarium. I did have problems with the assembly because they tried to use universal instructions but there are two different style aquariums. The instructions for the bow front aquarium, which I purchased, does not suit the instructions for the cylinder aquarium. Therefore assembly was challenging and you have to use common sense. Also if you do not attach the piece in the bottom properly it can leak…screw it in properly with the grooves to prevent leakage. I have had mine for one year now and I have absolutely no regrets. I have mine located in my formal living room which is right off from the entryway of my home, and everyone admirers my aquarium. Do yourself a favor and purchase the python aquarium suction cleaner, although it is not cheap, it is by far the most efficient and effective for this big tank…worth the investment👍🏾

I love the look, style, size, and the remote lightening with changeable colors. I’m not pleased with the freight delivery method at all. This method only delivers to your curb and not front door.
