We installed it in one day. 2 old women , one 63 years old and the other 58. It's sitting on concrete pillars. The decking we are trying to decide on. The price was great. I'd recommend buying it. We just went through a 45 mph rain storm and nothing moved or leaked. Love the polymer panels. Ive had a metal top before but I really like this look. Can't wait till we get the deck install finished.
Mic*******ithWe bought this gazebo and could not be happier. Was very easy to put together as long as you have a couple other people helping you. Everything lined up perfect. Took about 4 hours to finish. Just installed it this last weekend. We had a bad storm go thru yesterday with 80 mph winds and it held up with no problem! I did have it anchored into our concrete patio. So the sturdiness is not a problem. It does let some sun thru the roof but that is what we wanted. Only thing we do wish was different is the screens blow in on you if it is windy out. So if you are a smoker you need to be careful, other then that it is awesome.
Je*****reyExceptionally pleased with our new gazebo. I ordered the 12’ x 16’ version, it’s very large and fits my deck perfectly. My son and law and I built it in about 4 hours without much hassle. We’ve had one major wind storm where the adjacent golf course lost a couple trees and the gazebo held up with no problem.
E***YI put the legs together myself but found it easier to put the roof together separately, then lift it on top of the structure. Three of us lifted it up then secured it. The rest, putting the panels in the roof once it's bolted down is straight forward with a little patience. I added solar lights with the panels resting on the roof facing south.
Jes******anVery happy with the construction and the look of it. Was tested after being up just one day by 60+ mile an hour winds. Over the last couple months the gazebo has been subjected to increasing high winds that are not normal for this area. We no longer worry about these kinds of winds as they have no effect on the structure. We love it ... it looks great and is everything that was described in it's description. We would buy again and would certainly recommend it to you...
Sam*******ctorThis gazebo is everything and I’ve received so my compliments on it. I hired an assembly company because I didn’t have the patience to be trying to put this together. It took them about four hours to do it and it was two of them. It’s very sturdy and anchored to my deck. It gives natural sunlight with a nice shade from the roof. It’s amazing and spacious enough for my patio furniture! It rained pretty heavy the other night and the top of my furniture on one side did get wet a little but wasn’t that bad. It’s weather resistant so wasn’t worried about any damage to the patio furniture.
Pau******bowI’ve only had this up for a few days and can’t really comment on the sturdiness. But I put this up primarily by myself with only a little help from my 5‘2“ wife. And the people who are reviewing the saying it took four people eight hours to put together I’m not sure if they just don’t know how to read instructions or just aren’t very handy. Or maybe I just got a really well-made one. All of the materials themselves feel somewhat flimsy the supports and cross beams create a sturdiness somewhat similar to a honeycomb. It looks really nice when put together. And it’s even more sturdy bolted to the deck. I’m hoping that this turns out to be a very well-made product.
Debb*********klandReally Liking This Gazebo - My husband put it together pretty much by himself - I only had to help him move it around when needed. It doesn't feel real heavy before putting all the panels and cross bars in, but appears to be very sturdy after it was all put together. We anchored ours into concrete. If you get a windy day and have everything zipped up - watch out the zippers unzip themselves but that is better than the fabric tearing - thinking about putting some weights on the bottom of the curtains so they don't move so much as we have a fire pit in the center of ours and would prefer that the curtains don't blow towards the fire - the only thing we don't like is on the vent system - it is not screened so even with the mosquito netting closed we still get bugs - we will be installing netting up around the vent to help prevent that.
D*** DThere is so much I love about this Gazebo. It comes neatly packaged in 4 boxes with all the parts wrapped in protective foam. Assembly, well if you ever had an erector set as a child and enjoyed playing with it, well then you will love putting the gazebo together. The parts are precision fit. The directions are just pictures but easy to understand. It took me assembling it alone around 9-10 hours over 3 evenings after work. I’m sure the time would be cut considerably with two ppl as a lot of the time was unwrapping all the parts. As I started getting most of the roof panels up I felt the heat level underneath dropping ,This gazebo has transformed the look of my deck in to an oasis.
l***yFirst, if you didn’t purchase this model in it’s available sizes, you commented on the wrong model. This isn’t a flimsy model and is quite sturdy and doesn’t leak. We’ve had 2 torrential downpours with wind gusts. Pictorial instructions were quite simple to follow. I assembled this unit 99% by myself and needed a little help from my wife and or my granddaughter on several occasions. This unit is in the blazing sun most of the day and is considerably cooler than surrounding area of the deck. The top is an opaque polycarbonate and let’s in a sufficient amount of light. Several tracks and other components were bent but easily bent back into shape and not noticeable. I will be installing lighting and hanging fan in near future. I took my time and didn’t rush and did a couple of hours a day. Total time about 7 1/2 hours.
