Question: Where does the rain go when the shade is closed?
Answer: The rain will filter through the shade. It is for sun protection.Question: Is there a way to attach one side to the side of the house?
Answer: I'm sure you could rig something but out of the box it does not include any mechanism to secure to a wall or side of a house.Question: What is the lowest interior height? Is there a way to make it taller?
Answer: Assembled Dims: L 192.00 IN/D 144.00 IN/H 89.50 IN/ 746.15 Lbs. The only way to make it taller would be to use footers.Question: How does the sunshade open and close? Can this be replaced when worn?
Answer: The sun shade does not open and close. -

The gazebo is beautiful. We had it professionally assembled and are glad we did since it is a large project (for us). We also had the 2 privacy walls assembled at the same time, also beautiful. Recommend this product.

When it arrives it is in a few heavy boxes that if you can have help to move around. There is a lot of pieces but very easy to follow directions. You definitely need a few friends to help with assembly and lifting. Overall great product!

Everything is good about this pergola. The price, fast shipping, size and design. It fits perfectly in the backyard of our midcentury modern house. It was just what we needed to complete the new swimming pool install. It is lightweight but sturdy. Anchored to the patio. The shade provides a bit of cover in a light rain and gives a place to relax out of the sun. Very pleased with the purchase.

We ordered this directly from backyard discovery. My husband and I assembled it ourselves and it took about 2 days. The Pergola packaging and instructions were great. The instructions were very easy to follow and the pieces were labeled very nicely. The Pergola is very sturdy and has a nice clean look. Customer service is excellent as well. We are very happy with our purchase and would highly recommend this product.

Excellent product easy to install I suggest you put the parts together first day takes five hours Then on the second day you do the assembly with two friends and it will take about 3 to 4 hours to complete excellently made looks great. Follow the steps one at a time and you won’t have any problem
