Question: How many silkies could this hold?
Answer: It is good for raising your young chicks but once they are 3 months old you need to make sure they have a yard. I have about 12-14 that sleep in the house but have a yard during the day. Full size mabye 3-4 if small -med chickens and still would have a yard.

Question: Are the windows open or closed in with glass/plastic?
Answer: Closed. The windows have glass. I actually ended up taking the glass out and putting chicken wire in it’s place to offer more ventilation. Even though there are 3 ventilation holes in the upper back wall of the coop. It didn’t seem to provide enough, taking the glass out of the windows fixed that issue. With the overhang of the roof the windows are still protected from the weather.

Question: How many chickens can it hold just a night for protection?
Answer: You could put up to 6 just for night time , there are two roost bars and 3 egg boxes. you will need to use better hinges on the door/ramp, ours just tore out after a couple weeks, so we secured it with a piece of wood and larger hinges.

Question: What is the interior size of this coop?
Answer: Hello, the nesting boxes are 38.6" L x 12.5" H and the house area is 40" H x 36" W x 38.6" L.
