Answer: The lock on this product is same way as the basic metal crate,you just need to lift the handle --slide it back--put it down,but it is difficult for smart dogs to open it.In addition,our product has two locks per door.Question: Is it just a wood floor under the mat?

I got super lucky and my shipment did not come damaged (from transit) wohoo! Ordered the largest size for my growing German Shepard pup. She absolutely loves it! We’ve had no quality issues so far, crate holding up nicely. It’s been about a month since we purchased it.

My only concern is for cleaning if/when dog has an accident so I do keep a towel under the dog's bed inside the crate. As an aspiring abolitionist I had concerns about crating, but seems true what people say: Dogs feel a sense of comfort. Both my dogs like to go inside.

Great crates for dogs. These look beautiful and it was exactly what we needed. I got them in two sizes, small and medium, based on what the size chart said which turned out to be very accurate. It gives the right amount individual space for my two little puppies. They are both comfortable and loving their new crates. I bought extra pillows separately to make it a little bit more comfortable and warmer to sleep at night.

This was super easy to assemble and is a very nice piece we of furniture. Better than just having a cage in the room. I’m glad I read the reviews because one said something about “fiberglass” in the packaging and it WAS on one piece of the wood so I went slow pulling out the part and cleaned it off right away with a spray Lysol and paper towel and it’s perfect. I’m still 100% satisfied with this crate for our puppy. Great purchase.

Used for my little 10 lb Chihuahua for sleeping in at night. I leave it open during the day and she goes in to take naps.

I don't normally write reviews but this is a dog product I have procrastinated on buying because of all the options and so many size questions. I am so happy I picked this one after months of review paralysis. This is the 32L size ($179) and it fits my 12lb (very long body) mini aussie perfectly. He can stretch out and stand up without touching the top or sides. He stands about 21" tall and his head still has room. This took me about 25-30 minutes from opening the box to putting my dog inside and the instructions were easy to follow. No missing pieces, easy to follow labeling, comes with necessary allen wrench AND it can make actual turns without hitting a tight corner, leveling feet prevent floor scratches. Doors on two sides, thin pad inside but room for a fluffy dog bed.
