Customer questions & answers
Question: I can't tell from the photos. Is there enough room inside for a feeder/waterer without being under a roost ?
Answer: They don't need water 24 7. They don't drink at night. BUT if you are going to have them outside, you must be diligent in making sure they get out early. In many ways, its better NOT to have water inside, esp in winter, as it raises the humidity in the coop, which is worse for them than the cold.Question: Is the plastic good quality?
Answer: yes it is! I bought this for my 6 large chickens and they love it. The plastic is thick and easy to clean. It also holds warmth throughout the winter. We have problems with raccoons but now my chickens are safe as every opening locks shut. Highly recommend.Question: Is each roost really 36"? How high from the bottom is the middle roost?
Answer: Yes, each roost really is 36" long. The middle roost sits about 10-12 inches off the floor of the coop. I absolutely adore this coop and so do my girls!Question: How much room is needed to pull the trays out? What are the dimensions of the trays? The removal panel is the small beigh panel?
Answer: there are 2 trays, 36'' x 18'' each inside diameter. -

GREAT chicken coop! We are currently using it for a brooder in the garage with lid off. Girls will transition to outside in a few weeks and coop will go right with them. The ease of emptying the litter trays made it worth every penny! Attractive, well-made, lightweight, great design. Super pleased with this purchase!
Rea******feSO easy to put together thank goodness. Haven't had it that long but it is cute. Be aware that smaller chicks cannot get in, you'll need to make a ramp or use the little overhead roof to the main door as a ramp for them.
Chi******adyMy husband and I were looking for a chicken coop for our run and man the wooden ones where so expensive and so cheaply made...The I saw this Large Chicken Coop! The best way I can describe it is it is like the children vinyl play houses almost every house has in the back yard. The vinyl is thick and when the coop is clicked together it is very strong. For the money We thought we got our money worth and our chickens and Mr. Rooster is very safe inside at night after locking the coop door. My chickens love their new home.
L**oThis coop is amazing. My 13 California chickens survived a 15 hour drive in a dog crate to winter in Colorado. I set it up with two of the cozy coop heaters and two large chicken runs inside our shop. Several cold days later they are still peeping around happily.
Ro****A.There is no way a predator can get into this hen house! This coop is worth every penny, easy to assemble, easy to clean and access eggs and nest boxes. Prior to this coop we bought a cheap Chinese coop that seems to be made from balsa wood lol. Joking, it is some type of Pine, but you would swear it's balsa. What a waste of money, so we saved up for this one AND IT IS WORTH IT. It should last for ever. Great product.
A***eI am completely in love with this coop. The fact that I can take parts off and wash them is worth all the money in the world. If you can afford this (I used our tax return), definitely worth the buy! We have 5 standard sized girls in there now and there is room for 2 more if we wanted. I use newspaper to line the bottom of it and change it every other day (or 2 if I get busy). Clean up is SO EASY!
Om****onGreat Hen House. Easy to assemble with clear instructions and YouTube Video. No paint, nails or screws to deal with. Happy Chickens and easy to recover eggs. Keep in mind You do need to provide your own ramp and. platform if you want it off the ground. We used old table and piece of plywood with roof shingles staple to wood make it all weather and chickens to walk up to it.
K***yI've had mine for two years built the recommended platform for it and a ramp the chickens love it in blizzard conditions you can place food and water in one of the nesting boxes. It's double walled and they stay warm even in the single digits you can throw extra pine shaving in the winter and close the vents it's hard to coax them out! I'm very happy with this purchase and thinking of buying another in the near future
St*****eeI assembled this by myself in about 25-30 minutes. Wouldn't have been that long with an extra set of hands. The top part was a little tricky by myself, but I managed. Wife is in love with this coop, it's easy of clean and the convenience of to get the eggs and access to it will shorten time spent cleaning!
S**I have had this coop for more than a year now. With 3 perches inside, and about 4 large chickens per each, this coop can easily accommodate about 12 large chickens. Nest boxes seem to be of adequate size, despite some reviews I read. I like the ease of cleaning the coop by taking out the bottom trays and trays in the next boxes. It would be great if these trays would be a bit more sturdy to prevent the wood shavings go in between them. A bit pricey, but seems durable, easy to clean and wash, all good, hens and rooster seem to be happy.
