    Customer questions & answers

Question: It says the bottom comes out...Does it slide out for easy cleaning?
Answer: It has 3 floor panels that lift out. The instructions tell you to secure the roof, I didn't. I added two hinges to the roof so that I could clean it easier.

Question: Can this house 4 full grown Indian runner ducks?
Answer: Yes it fits our 6 barred rocks. Get some spar urethane and put about 3 coats on. It will last you a long time.

Question: Can 4 full grown chickens and a duck fit in this comfortably?
Answer: It depends on how friendly they are. If they don't peck each other they can fit but it will be very tight. It would be 2 chickens on each roost (that's all it can fit) and the duck sitting quietly in the middle. No walking around and the duck might have to back out when you open the door.

Question: where do I put the food and water?
Answer: There is no specific place to put the food and water. You could put anywhere where is ok.

It is perfect for our 4 ducks. Top was too cumbersome to lift off and clean so we added hinges on the back of it MD it works great!

My chickens and ducks love this little house! I have 4 hens and 2 ducks that go in and out. I leave it open for easy access. They started laying in the nests within 2 days. My flock is free range. I have a fenced pen around the coop that I close everyone in at night. Easy to put together and very sturdy.

Great product, used Flexseal on all the bolts and joints to go the extra step to make sure it was waterproof. But very nice product.

I was so shocked how easy it was to put together! My girls were happy to check it out and got my first egg out of it an hour after putting it out! Wood is a lot sturdier than tractor supply one

Great little coop! Don’t expect too much and you won’t be disappointed. Love the style easy to put together. Recommend using some larger screws in places but great deal for the money. Could last a while with proper care. Pleased with purchase :)

Easily put together! Was a family project with my kids! I just wanted a small coop for 4 chicks and so far this is perfect. I read other reviews and I also added hinges to the roof for easy cleaning access.

I'm glad I purchased this chicken coop, it's very easy to assemble and engineered nicely. I will be insulating mine and adding additional caulk where the seems meet and something for the floor as well. You probably don't even have to do all that but i think it will be worth it in the long run.

This has worked great for my ducks and has held up really well for the price.

Super easy to put together. Tip: don't tighten the bolts until its been fully assembled on a flat surface with the roof test fitted. We did a few things to increase its longevity and fuction: 1. Painted with 7 year solid stain. The strain that came on it was VERY light and seeing a how the wood isn't cedar, better protection will really increase its useful life. Made sure to paint bottom and over hardware 2. Added vinyl floor to make clean outs much easier 3. Added vents (really needs these, esp for ducks) 4. Added a bit of trim to front and mounted 2 12in piano hidges to roof. With upgraded screws (stainless). 5. Upgraded latches to ones that would work with carabiners (critters cant open and easy to use). Missed 1 will have to bit store again :) 6. Added bolts and wood to hold roof up for clean outs 7. Added a bit of wood to roof to stiffen it up 8. Added bit of wood to hang heat lamp from for chicks and later on timed lamp to increase laying 9. Set it on cement blocks to reduce rot/water comtact on feet (after painting them good). Using it for chicks now but will eventually be 5 hen duck house. Need to level it and build a ramp extension.
