Customer questions & answers
Question:How many chickens can lay in this coop? Are there any roost bars on the inside?
Answer:I have a hen that uses this house and she sleeps in the nesting box. Technically, it seems that four hens could be quite cozy sleeping inside, though even for my lone hen, I don't have her in there all the time and if I did, I would expand the outside portion so that there is a lot more room to run around. There are no roost bars, though I've added a long wooden stick that goes through the large cage I've put up to the house to provide extra room when I'm away from home and it seems to work fine for when alone.Question:Would it be a good fit for two buff orpingtin Chickens?
Answer:I have a buff Orpington myself and I let her run around during the day usually when I'm outside but if you plan to be away/have them spend most of their time in the coop, it would be good to get an add on in addition. My hen has a cage (a big dog cage I'm just using) that I put straw in so she can run around more during the day. It is a nice coop to sleep in/spend a little time in, but not enough room if your keeping two hens in there for a long period of time. Sometimes I'll be away and let my hen stay in there (too afraid to have her roaming around when away) but generally, I make sure she gets outdoor time too.Question:is there a perch above the removable tray?
Answer:YesQuestion:Is it a indoor and outdoor?
Answer:it is outdoor but if you have the space could be indoor -

Instructions are easy to follow if u line everything out. Hens know it's home. After a week 1 of the hens layed an egg. Easy to clean with the tray. I would varnish the wooden frame as I did. Looks like it could go rotten very quickly being so thin and only painted. I got a varnish spray that does plastic too
hi*****ickexcellent service, good quality product and easy to put together. Plenty of room for two rabbits they can now lay stretched out inside or outside. The latches are good quality and stay in place, the nesting box has a lift up roof which has strong magnets to hold it in place. would recommend a latch or bolt adding if you know you have foxes visiting. The wire is strong and securely attached on the inside so good for hanging treats & toys on, with several doors it is easy to maintain & clean out. Having the ramp outside the hutch leaves plenty of room indoors our rabbits love to lay in the doorway looking out when its damp. looking forward to getting a run extension to connect to the hutch.
3***sThis is perfect just what we wanted and it's so pretty everyone loves it, and our chicks seem to love it arrived early easy to put together nice size easy clean all round great hen house to start with, 😊
S***anTook 50 mins to assemble. It is small so bought the extension. Great quality. Easy to clean
Mi****aExcellent, I actually use it for my bunny she loves it.
Lynn********zieArrived very quickly. Very easy to put together, holes guiding you if you're not sure. I can't fault this chicken house. The only thing I tweeked was the perch which needed to be higher. It is fine for my three Light Sussex birds, which I let have free reign of my garden during the day. Because I live in north Scotland I think the house, made mostly from plastic will stand up well to the wet weather....I'm more than satisfied with my purchase.
Mar*******isonGreat hutch, would recommend :-)
M**ENeeded this as an emergency second coop for some bullied hens. This arrived quickly, seems solid, was easy to put together and has a lot of practical details (litter tray slides out without needing to open the thing up, there’s a plastic lip over the nest box to stop leaks between the join and the latches lock solidly into place if you slide them back). Don’t suppose that being wood which is in direct contact with the ground / mud it will last forever but I can live with that for the price.
Lo****aHave 2 small rabbits in this (outside) & they love it 🥰 , absolutely no problemo to erect & it’s a great size & quality I’d highly recommend this
Hu****.It was so easy to put together and the peices all fitted well. Fast delivery, would highly recommend x
