Customer questions & answers
Question: What kind of chemicals should be used?
Answer: Don’t use chlorine in a spa, because it dissipates too quickly above 75 degrees. Use bromine instead. There are also alternatives like Nature2 and AquaSpa if you want something that’s gentle on the skin and tub components. Just be prepared to skim and use anti-foam more often, as the bromine alternatives act as coagulants and tend to leave deposits on the walls of the tub.-Former Pool/Spa Chemical Specialist
Question: How many plug ins does it require?
Answer: Just one standard 110v plugQuestion: How hard is it to deflaye the spa and pack it away?
Answer: take out the fill valve after you empty it and it's not that hard to roll or fold up. but emptying it take about 50 minutes as the water takes a bit to go out. even longer when a hose is connected to it. but its a great tub for sure. -

We lost our inground pool to a hurricane. I love the water for my sore knees. I ordered this on a whim and am happy I did. It's a simple tub with water and if you wish lots of bubbles. The heater works great. I didn't have a deck so I placed it on level ground with an indoor/ outdoor carpet under it. Only surprise was that at 5'4' I didn't reach the other side and I float. So I have to improvise :)
Pau*******bryEasy to set up. Very comfortable for me and my wife. I'm 6'1" and my wife's 5'1" were both comfortable. There would probably be room for 1 more adult but it would be tight and everybody would need to be very friendly to put 4 adults in it. The build quality is good and sturdy. The water pump is almost silent. The air pump is a little louder but hard to hear over the bubbles which make a lot of noise. We don't usually use the bubbles. We have a standard outdoor outlet and we've had no problem with the circuit breakers tripping. We're very happy with our purchase.
L**aWe love it! We are in it almost every day. It was easy to set up. My local pool company helped me with the chemicals. I used bromine as I didn’t want chlorine. This is an inexpensive way to get a hot tub without spending thousands. It is very comfortable to sit in. The bubble jets re amazing. It’s been about two months now and as still use it just about every bday. Great purchase.
jus******neyThis was the best purchase I have made in years! The tub was simple to assemble I used videos on YouTube to help with that process. I filled it with water added the chemicals and I was so freaking exited to use the tub. With my first use I found that the floor had a hole that exposed the padding. After talking with the company and going through the processes the company sent me a replacement. I’m in love if your on the fence take my advice life is short just so it!
SM****ayWe had a standard hot tub at our previous house. We ordered this to hold us over as its 30 weeks to get a new standard hot tub. Let me just say that this little hot tub is awesome. This has some powerful bubble massage and great heater. Buy this! Great quality. Love it
Ann*******psonHad difficulty with jets working. Valve was stuck. Not allowing air to flow into rub. Had to disassemble and use a screwdriver to push on valve the reassemble. Then it worked other than that it was easy to assemble.
Ran******ksThis is a well built entry level hot tub. It is much cheaper to try this hot tub to see if you like it before commiting to a permanent fixture that will likely cost 10x what this one does. My only minor complaint is that some of the setup instructions are a bit vague. It's probably better to look up the instructions on YouTube. Once set up, it took about 24 hours for maximum temperature to be reached. It tops out at 104° which is the government limit. It is comfortable but I would prefer if it went up a few more degrees. Overall, I am happy with this Intex hot tub!
Z***rLove having thos on the porch. It is so useful after working hard. Relaxes my body for a good night sleep.
Bob******lesI was so skeptical about purchasing an inflatable hot tub. I was worried about siting it on my brick patio, thought I didn't want to sit on a hard surface , its padded on the bottom! I have only had it for a few weeks, but I'm in it at least every night. I moved into a new townhouse that doesn't have a tub for me to soak in, really didn't think I would miss a tub. I have a herniated disc in my lower back and have such terrible sciatic back pain. It really helps to be able to sit and soak and then ice. I love this tub. I definitely would recommend getting yourself one. It says 4 person, but I think comfortably it sits 2 ( I love the space) It fits nicely on my back enclosed patio. Temp keeps at 102. Thanks for making my daily comfort enjoyable.
J**A little challenging to assemble but by no means a disaster. Once connected, the hot tub was rapidly inflated (8-10 minutes), quickly filled with water (under 2 hours), and then heated up approximately 2F/hour. We've only cranked the temperature to 90F for the time being, but will eventually heat the water up to 104F when temperatures cool in September. The controls are easy to use/understand. The kit came with a chlorine/bromine tablet holder, test strips and a spa cover that can be buckled into place.
