Customer questions & answers
Question:Does this heat it's own water or does it have to be hot going in?
Answer:It heats the water
Question:It says 3 full pitchers with a 5L marking is a full wash. Does that mean the tank must be refilled repeatedly while it washes...?
Answer:Push the power button. Then fill with 3 full pitchers of water until the water faucet light on the front of machine turns off/you hear beeping. Then select wash type and hit start button. The machine does not need any water added during the wash cycle.
Question:For those that use the optional line in hookup, do I need to keep faucet on through the wash cycle? Or can I take it off after it fills tank?
Answer:As soon as the machine fills with water and rapidly beeps, that's it. You may now remove the water source. This unit fills up the internal tank using the faucet connection. It only does this once and never needs water again until the next time you operate it. Every rinse/drain cycle for the rest of the program comes from that internal tank, exactly as if you filled it manually.
Question:What type soap is best to buy ???
Answer:I use the cascade powder and I never have any problems or spots
Question:What size pot/bucket do I need for this to drain into after it’s done?
Answer:A pot would not do, if you want to use a bucket, a 5 gallon, but observe it for coming out or sloshing out from water pressure, make sure you have it securely in place if possible use sink drain

I purchased this dishwasher at the start of the pandemic because during lockdowns I felt the only thing I was doing was washing dishes. I rent so couldn’t install a large dishwasher. This one fit perfect on my countertop. I put sliding furniture movers under it so I could slide it in and out from under kitchen cabinet to add water to it from my faucet. Was able to place it right next to sink so faucet handle could reach to fill it. No need to use the the little picture that came in the box. If I had to use that I don’t think it would have worked out. Placement close to the sink also allowed the water hose from dishwasher to drain right in the sink. I’ve had this for almost two months now and it works as advertised every time. I mainly only use the quick wash and fruit wash features but I love it.
A***eYes, the tiny, magical helper is small. But that’s exactly what we are looking for. We have small kitchen and no space for full dishwasher at all, plus it’s a rented apartment. Our landlord decided to install washer and dryer instead of a dishwasher when she was leaving in our apartment before us. I am mad at myself for taking this long to purchase the dishwasher. Our family always fights about the dishes. Even though we had a plan - mom washes pans and pots, daughter all utensils, son all plates and the man of the house all glasses or bowls. That chore assignment did not help. We always had terrible fights. It was destroying us. Everyone blaming each other who forgot to wash something, who did not wash well enough and so on. Imagine parties here? Next day it was a war zone with double sink full of dishes laying there for few days because no one wanted to come close near this responsibility. Then it would fall all on me- a tired, full/time working mom, who had no other choice. In worse case scenarios, the king of the house came to final rescue. So I finally decided to buy a valentine’s gift for all of us. A freaking tiny dishwasher. And we love it. All we need “magic mike” for is to take care of tiny stuff so we could focus on bigger stuff like pots and pans only. It came sooner than expected (4 days sooner). At first we didn’t have anything to try it with as all the dishes were washed at the moment. But then we did our best to gather some dirty stuff LOL
V**iThis was the absolute best investment I ever made! I have a small kitchen with no dishwasher. I broke my back years ago, so it makes it very difficult to stand at a sink and wash dishes now. Plus, I never feel like the dishes are really clean. Because I have such little counter space, I had to be cautious of what kind of countertop dishwasher I purchased, but the fact that this one is truly portable, I was in. As you can see in the pictures, I have it on a stand next to my stove, and I put a large pot under it to drain in. The load in the pictures is comprised of 3 regular bowls, 1 large bowl, a small plate, and 7 utensils. For being so small, I'm impressed how much I can fit in there, and it's perfect for me and my wife.
Josh********ingsI love this dishwasher. I love that it has a tank because my kitchen is set up in a way that makes it difficult to get the dishwasher close enough to the sink to hook it up. I keep it on my kitchen table and let it drain into a stock pot that I keep on a chair. The tiny challenge is that I can't fill up the tank quickly because the water splashes all over if I try to pour it in too quickly. I assume it takes way less time than it would to cart it over to the sink and hook it up, though. The tank needs to be filled 3 times with a 1.8 liter pitcher. I originally wondered why it didn't come with a larger pitcher so you only had to fill it up once. But a big pitcher would be much heavier. It would be too heavy for some people, particularly anyone elderly.
D***GI've seriously never been so excited over an appliance before! I am ridiculously happy to finally have this cute little Farberware dishwasher to help us out! The stress of having dishes building up in the sink in our tiny apartment was such a source of frustration between me & my bf, it was just hard to keep up after a long days work & especially during the pandemic when we'd been cooking at home 3 meals a day. It might be small, but even taking the edge off that pile of dishes has made a HUGE difference. Everything works really well & it fits nicely on the countertop next to our sink, without cramping our access to the sink, and I also love that this one has the option to fill the tank with a pitcher so we didn't have to hook it up to our faucet.
Ti****yThis dishwasher is really great to use.
