Question:Does this have a natural gas as well as propane version? I.E. uses natural gas and or propane if natural gas unavailable? And will it switch over auto
Answer:mine has a switch to turn to propane or to nat.
Question:What is the advantage of a variable speed generator ?
Answer:The generator will exercise at a lower speed to save on fuel and noise levels. However, the default setting is once every two weeks. I would change this to once a week.
Question:Is this the auto transfer switch and what model?
Answer:This 22kW model comes with an RTSW200A3 SE Rated 200Amp Auto Transfer Switch.

Just had this installed at my house. Runs off the natural gas (in picture) . 45 seconds after the loss of utility power the Generac comes online. Can barely hear it, no louder than a lawn mower, but it powers the entire house. Tested it with the heat strips on in my HVAC and both ovens on high. No strain on generator whatsoever. Definitely recommend this.

Complete house power. Had to have an electrician to wire up. It cranks and Runs every Sunday morning for about 5 mins. I think we will live it. We installed a 500 gal gas tank. That should run the generator for about 7-10 days.

Took about 4 days to install - including leveling a 20" grade, building a pad, drilling a brick and 8" thick concrete basement wall, transfer switch installation and gas line installation. Very solid unit and fired right up. Functions as intended. Great insurance plan for my neighbors, now our power will never go out. First week, we had sever storms blow through and it's VERY comforting knowing losing power isn't a concern.
