A:"Yes, the heater would have to be unplugged from the circuit board. And the lowest temperature you can set on the spa is 70 degrees. However, the outside temperature will impact the temperature of the water."

Q:"Can the heater be turned off during the summer months for a cool-down dip?" asked by Anthony

A:"During the summer months, the water will not go lower than the ambient temperature surrounding the spa, as it is not designed to cool water. In extremely hot weather, the water temperature can exceed the temperature set. This is especially common when your temperature setting is lower than the air temperature. If the water temperature exceeds the temperature setting by more than 3°F (1.5°C), the pump will stop running automatically, except during filter cycles. Normal operation will resume when the water temperature cools below the setting or the setting is increased above the water temperature. This mode operates the heater whenever needed to maintain the programmed spa water temperature."
