We love that this entertainment center has an open field in our cozy living room . It was not difficult to put together and we do like the fact that the TV is higher than with a traditional TV stand . It has an expensive lok as well.

These are very solid, heavy, sturdy pieces. The piers and the console come separately and have to be built separately. That requires a lot of strength because you have to drive wood screws into the wood shelves, and there are no guide holes. My husband drilled his own guide holes, being very careful not to let the bit go too far in. I would definitely say that you need two people to assemble this. But the result is a great piece of furniture that will last. The metal is black, but it has subtle bronze antiquing highlights at some edges to match the distressed, "worm-hole" marked oak wood. The oak is a warm toffee-brown color, just as pictured.The three pieces do not join together, so I was initially worried that they might not be level, but they sit together well and look like one piece. We did not install the strapping because they don't seem wobbly at all. Overall we are very pleased with the look of this piece. We are using it in an office in place of traditional bookshelves; its open look makes it ideal for this, and we're going to buy water-hyacinth rattan baskets (8" x 13" x 13") to put on the bottom two shelves for storage. I would say that this piece looks better in person than might be expected; it is solid wood beneath the veneers, very heavy; it seems to be very high-quality and came with excellent hardware and good directions too.

I am so happy that I chose this entertainment center. It is very beautiful and well made. I was concerned that it might not sit securely on carpet, but it is very stable. Each piece comes with an anti-tip kit that can be used to secure the pieces to the wall. My daughter and I assembled the unit and we didnt have any major problems.

Absolutely beautiful. Just as pictured. Comes in 3 boxes one for each unit. And simpler to put together than it looks it might be. My 86 yo Dad completed installation by himself.
