An avid cyclist-friend recommended an e-bike for exercise. After doing a bit of research, I landed on the Heybike Explore. Delivery was quicker than expected, assembly was a breeze and my emails to their help line were promptly answered. Many friends have complimented me on the bike. Oh and I think it looks like a “bat cycle”! Very pleased!
Da****hLove this thing! I made a few minor changes to adjust the bike. Just to be clear this bike was amazing out of the box. Better than my last e bike I got from one of the big names. The stock battery range is excellent however I did upgrade to a larger triangle battery for my rides in the country. I am very very hard on this bike and it looked best the abuse! Thank you Hey bike, you got a disabled veteran back on the road!
Xen******feThe HeyBike Explorer 750W was a full-featured eBike with a design aimed at people who want off-road excitement while also wanting to cruising around parks, cities and towns. Biking is both a healthy activity and a great way to bond with one another, and having an electric bike of high quality and strong motor tops it all. I felt this brand HeyBike Explorer was a lot more innovative than others on the current market around the same price range, the 20AH battery paired with 750 Watt motor with that beautiful rear rack sealed the deal. Even the simple Velcro wire loom for better wire management is good looking. My wife agrees that this is our best ebike yet because of the step through, which is designed to provide convenience and specificity for all, and it is also more acceptable for all than the over step design. HeyBike Explorer step through makes getting on and off more comfortable and simple for her.
J***bThis bike is pretty fun, pretty comfortable. I think the only complaint I have is that putting it together by yourself is a little hard. Putting the bike together with at least one other person would go a lot faster and would be easier. The worst part about putting it together was probably the front wheel; the front wheel was EASY to tighten down and to secure but getting it into the right position to tighten it down was a little tricky. The only things you have to assemble is the front tire, handlebars, seat, front fender, and the headlight. I had PRETTY much no problem putting it together, but I could see other older men or women having trouble putting on the wheel and maneuvering the bike. The bike has a back rack comes already installed and looks very "beefy," looks as if it could hold a good 80lb (36kg) worth of weight. The handlebars were also pretty comfy and felt very good. You can get a front basket which costs around $50, and the bike comes with the screws preinstalled into the bike for the basket. On the right handlebar there is the speed selector along with the twist throttle acting like a motorcycle. In the back of the bike there is a red light for safety, and whenever you brake with either brake handles the red light flashes, one nice feature I thought. The bike also comes with a small LCD in the middle of the handlebars to indicate your speed, trip, odometer, average speed, battery life, and you can also dim the display. This bike is amazing and would definitely recommend!
*DRecently had knee replacements, gives me a way to explore bike trails and get exercise without any pain. I absolutely love this bike, worth every penny. I’ve gone 30 miles on it so far and thousands more to go. I am 6’5” 284 pounds and this bike fits me perfectly.
A***ewThis is a really exceptional bike but with poor interface, poor manual. But performance-wise this thing rides great and is pretty safe to ride on country roads in the midwest as long as you avoid curves and hills and will maintain 20-30 mph. Remember to treat it like a moped if you ride on the roads and wear a helmet and carry your license because it might as well be a moped without the loud exhaust.

jr****0First let me say as an over 300 lb guy i was worried. But this bike easily speeds me dowm the road at over 28 miles an hour on flat terrain and even the uphill to work at over 23 and that's in throttle alone! However, the bike doing all the work is a common problem, as the front gear is only 48 tooth. A theoretically easy upgrade to a "52 tooth crankset" will improve the gear ratio so your legs aren't just spinning freely as the motor does 100 percent of the work The light is bright! Which is great since i go to work well before the sun up. Even letting the bike do all the work and going max speed ivt never fully depleted the battery on the 20 or so miles a day ive been putting in it. At lower power assist settings and peddling I've easily put 20 miles on it with the battery only dropping one bar of five! Assembly was easy, the seat is comfy. If you weigh much you will need to tighten the spring on the seat stem. I can strap a 28 quart cooler to the rack no problem! But speaking of the rack its make our of 20mm tubing and is 8 inches wide so almost no less expensive panniers or saddle bags will fit. The front basket, if you get it, almost big enough to hold an adults shoebox. I strongly recommend replacing the front handlebar stem with an adjustable one! It makes riding instantly more comfortable. So far i have been over all happy with the riding experience. Charging is done easily by removing the battery.
