Question:If the bike takes off at 15mph when you touch the pedals, how do you stop or use the motor for cruising speed? Want to go slow not 15mph!
Answer:You pedal like you would a standard bike. When you reach the speed you want, stop pedalling and coast a bit and then pedal some more. I do not use the handlebar speed cantrol except sometimes when starting from a dead stop and then only for a moment. Do not worry, it will become second nature to you Just do it.

This e-trike is wonderful for the low price and everything I thought it would be. Cadence pedal sensor works like it should so no surprise there either. I had no missing parts nor any damaged parts. I have been riding mine for several weeks and I love it. I am 60 years old, 6 foot tall and weigh 225 pounds.

I live in a mountainous, rural area with heavy winter freezes, so our roads are in poor condition, with steep slopes, broken asphalt, and potholes all over the place. Even loaded with groceries and on a steep incline, the pedal assist mode for this bike makes riding a breeze. The steepest hill in town did require me to put some significant force on the pedals as well as using the engine, but I was able to maintain speed. I can cross town in 20 minutes and I'm not breathless and sweaty afterwards, which is phenomenal. Because of the two rear wheels, potholes and broken asphalt don't interfere with balance, so I don't have to worry about constantly falling over either. Assembly itself was a bit labourious, with some of the photos in the instruction manual being unhelpful for seeing which parts connect, but it was all relatively obvious. If you've ever assembled a bike before, you'll do just fine. You will need a philips screwdriver, a set of hex keys, an adjustable wrench or a set of wrenches of various sizes, and a tire pump to complete assembly. This trike has an safety feature which was preventing the engine from engaging unless the pedals were turning.That is a nice feature. It keeps the bike from flying away while you are getting on/off. Where the instructions say to test the engine during assembly, instead check to make sure the battery gauge on the right handle is lit. Test the engine after you complete assembly. All in all, this was a wonderful purchase that I highly recommend. The engine might be a bit excessive if you live in a flat, well maintained area, but it is the perfect strength for rural hills. And the price is absolutely astonishing, about 1/10 of the electric trikes I was looking at originally.

Love my new electric trike. Just turned 60 and needed a little extra help maneuvering my hills where I live. Along with my muscles and the extra boost from the electric mode it gets me there perfectly. I recommend watching the video slowly and you can put it together just perfectly in your living room.

Overall a decent trike for the money at first my wife did not like it she did not feel safe on it because as soon as you go to takeoff peddling it kicks in at 100% power. It definitely has a learning curve and after writing it once or twice she has gotten comfortable on it.

I have had multiple leg surgeries so I am unable to pedal a bike . I am so excited for this bike I can’t tell you!!! I love. My family loves it. The basket is perfect for my 12lb pup. We scoot around the campsites and town .. Great bike!!!

Easy to assemble, easy to ride,battery lasts 19 miles.

You will like it. Swiftly ride across town pedalling with ease as you go. Slightly pedalling keeps it going without needing to hold down the go button on the handlebars. I carried this ancient student desk (see picture) 5 miles across town with no problem. I go farther than that for a month's worth of groceries. This is a good answer to the auto as long as do not need to go at night AND as long as you do not need to go out when it is raining. Hey, retired guy, get one.
